I met Luana at a Russian party dedicated to Miami Swimming Fashion Week. She caught my attention with her extraordinary outfit—a swimsuit made of live flowers. This unique attire made me realize just how incredibly inventive Russian designers are, not just creating shows but offering people a chance to see the world of fashion from a different perspective.
Yulia Sorvina: Luana, it’s a pleasure to have you here. You’ve had such an incredible journey as an international model, traveling the world and working with so many renowned projects and designers. Can you tell us a bit about your experiences?
Luana: Thank you, Yulia. It’s wonderful to be here. My journey as a model has been an exhilarating adventure. I’ve had the privilege of working in some of the most amazing cities, collaborating with top designers and participating in incredible projects. Each experience has been unique and enriching.
Yulia Sorvina: That sounds amazing! You mentioned having some favorite fashion cities. Could you share which ones stand out the most to you and why?
Luana: Absolutely. Two of my favorite fashion cities are Dubai and New York. Dubai is fascinating because of its blend of tradition and modernity. The fashion scene there is luxurious and innovative, and I love the vibrant energy. New York, on the other hand, is the heartbeat of fashion. It’s dynamic, diverse, and always ahead of the curve. The creativity and hustle in New York are truly inspiring.
Yulia Sorvina: Those are two incredible cities with very distinct vibes. This year, you made your debut in Miami for the first time, participating in a project by your best friend, Alexander. Can you tell us about that experience?
Luana: Miami was a fantastic experience. It was my first time there, and I was thrilled to be part of Alexander’s project. He is incredibly talented, and working with him is always a joy. This project was particularly special because I got to present a collection of swimwear made from live flowers. It was a beautiful and unique concept that blended nature with fashion in a stunning way.
Yulia Sorvina: That sounds absolutely enchanting! A collection made from live flowers is so unique. How did it feel to wear and present such a distinctive collection?
Luana: It was an extraordinary experience. Wearing something so delicate and ephemeral made me feel connected to nature and added an extra layer of artistry to the performance. The audience’s reaction was fantastic, and it was truly memorable to be part of such a creative and groundbreaking show.
Yulia Sorvina: It’s incredible to hear about such innovative approaches in fashion. How do you see the future of fashion evolving, especially with such unique concepts being introduced?
Luana: I think the future of fashion is going to be even more diverse and inclusive, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and creativity. Concepts like using live flowers or incorporating technology into fashion are just the beginning. The industry is constantly evolving, and I believe we’ll see more collaborations that push the boundaries of traditional fashion, creating beautiful and thought-provoking art.
Yulia Sorvina: Thank you so much for sharing your insights, Luana. It’s inspiring to hear about your experiences and your vision for the future of fashion. We look forward to seeing more of your incredible work.
Luana: Thank you, Yulia. It was a pleasure speaking with you. I’m excited to see where the world of fashion takes us next.
